Scoping Consultation

We work with you to define key concerns, questions, and desired outcomes.

In this phase, we start by understanding your organization's unique challenges, particularly in cybersecurity and geopolitical risk. Many businesses recognize the need to manage geopolitical risk but struggle with how to approach it. Our initial consultation identifies these gaps, identifying target concerns or unknowns, espeically in key areas where geopolitical events may impact operations. Together, we outline the goals for the simulation, defining the scope and identifying risks and opportunities that your team will need to navigate.

Data Collection & Prototyping

Through interviews with your staff and our own scenario building and geopolitical analysis, we develop and refine your custom simulation.

Data collection begins with in-depth interviews with your organization's key stakeholders, focusing on operations, risk management, and business continuity. We combine this internal knowledge with open-source intelligence and geopolitical analysis to forecast potential risk scenarios. This allows us to develop a highly tailored simulation. The prototyping phase is iterative—using the collected data, we design and test initial versions of the simulation, refining it to ensure it aligns with your organization's objectives and remains adaptable to real-world dynamics.

Playtesting

We playtest and further refine the scenario to ensure clarity and effectiveness for end users.

Our playtesting phase starts with internal testing to identify potential gaps and areas for improvement in the simulation. Once we've refined the game, we invite members of your organization to participate in a dress rehearsal. These participants will have awareness of the scenarios being discussed, but they are not necessarily the subject matter experts for the final analysis event. This ensures we capture a broader perspective and improve the usability and impact of the scenario for a wide range of participants.

Expert Simulation

A full-scale wargame with your team of expertsto gather actionable insights.

The final simulation is customized based on the scope of your project. For shorter, focused training or education scenarios, the simulation may take just a few hours. Larger projects, especially those involving deep risk analysis or cross-departmental collaboration, can extend to multi-day events. Participants roleplay through multiple geopolitical or cybersecurity scenarios, allowing your organization to stress-test strategies, identify potential vulnerabilities, and explore solutions in a controlled environment. The event's structure is flexible, ensuring that it meets the specific needs of your team.

Comprehensive Analysis

Our after-action report provides detailed findings and strategic recommendations.

After the simulation, we compile all the data, insights, and feedback gathered throughout the process into a comprehensive after-action report. This report details the key findings, risk mitigation strategies, and potential opportunities uncovered during the scenario. The format of the report depends osn the goals set during the initial consultation. While written reports are the standard, we can also present the findings in person or via teleconference, ensuring your team understands and can act on the recommendations provided.
